Korea-Africa Foundation Co-hosts Africa Session with Korean Association of International Studies and Signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
The Korea-Africa Foundation (Chairman Kim Young-chae) co-hosted an Africa session with the Korean Association of International Studies (KAIS) at the 2024 Annual Conference of the Korean Association of International Studies, held on December 6 (Friday) at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy. The session focused on "The Role and Importance of Africa in the United Nations."
The purpose of this Africa session was to raise public awareness about Africa’s role in the international community and to expand the academic research base. Experts from both Korea and abroad gathered to present and engage in in-depth discussions.
Prior to this session, the Korea-Africa Foundation and the Korean Association of International Studies also held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Under this agreement, both institutions will continue to expand their cooperation, including joint operations of international academic conferences, the promotion of research in African and international politics, and the strengthening of policy dialogue and exchanges.
