On November 27, 2024, the Korea-Africa Foundation held the closing ceremony for the 2024 Africa Continent Correspondents online. The 2024 Africa Continent Correspondents consisted of 23 individuals from 23 African countries, who have been active since March, gathering the latest information and news from the continent and working to enhance mutual understanding between Korea and Africa over the past eight months.
The closing ceremony began with a speech of encouragement by Chairman Kim Young-chae, followed by a group photo, the selection and award ceremony for outstanding correspondents, and concluded with the correspondents sharing their reflections on their activities.
In particular, Lino Benedito Cristovao from Mozambique, N'guessan Nelly Carole Koffi Epse Nguyen from Cote d'Ivoire, and Mcleord Nyandiga Onditi from Kenya were selected as outstanding correspondents and were awarded certificates and prizes.

The Korea-Africa Foundation will continue to contribute to sustainable cooperation and mutual understanding between Korea and Africa through the Africa Continent Correspondents Network.
