2023 Korea-Uganda Youth Camp

The Korea-Africa Foundation co-hosted the 'Korea-Uganda Youth Camp' with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uganda in Jinja, Uganda, from 21st of June to 24th of June.

Amb. Jaehoon Lim, the Vice President of the Korea-Africa Foundation attended to the opening ceremony on 22nd June and expressed words of encouragement and support, hoping that the "Korea-Uganda Youth Camp" would be a meaningful time for youth, who are the future leaders of Korea and Uganda, to gain a renewed sense of friendship between Uganda and Korea.

Around 20 Korean and Ugandan students currently studying at Hillside High International School and Heritage International School in Uganda participated in this youth camp and had meaningful experiences, including events like "Korean Movie Night," "Taekwondo Classes," "Korean Cultural Experience (K-POP)," and "KOICA Lectures," through which they learned about Korean culture and got to know each other better.
