Through 2023 Unicorn Acceleration program, 7 Korean startups have participated at GITEX Africa 2023 from the 31st of May to 2nd of June. GITEX Global, the world's largest and most inclusive tech event held in Dubai, launched its first edition of GITEX Africa 2023 in Marrakech, Morocco. The KAF arranged the Korea-Africa Unicorn Pavilion to demonstrate innovative business items of 7 tech startups in logistics, new material, bio, finance and energy sector. The KAF also prepared business matching to build the partnership between participating teams and global investors. Besides, IR mentoring and localization mentoring were provided to empower the startups before participating this event and the KAF is going to support the participation at another event in South Africa in November, as a follow-up. The director of the Foundation, Lee Jong-kil, participated as a panel in discussing the cause of Africa's increasing interest in Asia.
