On September 2, the president of the Korea-Africa Foundation, Lyeo Woon-ki, attended ‘Busan University of Foreign Studies African Studies Center Annual Conference’ and delivered his congratulatory speech.

With the topic of <Francophonie Africa’s status and future>, discussions regarding Francophonie Africa’s economy, identity, and cultural diversity took place in the annual conference. Mr.Lyeo mentioned Africa’s nature of continent having the biggest number of French-speaking population, and emphasized Africa’s strengthening cooperation with South Korea which obtained the position of observer in OIF.
