2025 Conversation with Ambassadors

On 18 November 2025, Gam Un-an, Standing Director of the Korea-Africa Foundation, delivered a congratulatory address at the Conversation with Ambassadors symposium hosted by the Yonsei University Institute of African Studies under the theme “AI Divide: From Technological Inequality to Shared Prosperity.”

In his remarks, Director Gam reaffirmed Korea’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Africa and emphasized that artificial intelligence can serve as a critical tool for advancing sustainable development and mutual prosperity between the two regions. The event brought together African ambassadors and representatives from the Korean government and academia to discuss how AI and innovative technologies can form a foundation for shared prosperity across both regions.
