Af-PRO Essay Collection 『한국과 아프리카를 잇다』- Sixth Volume Publication Ceremony Held

The Korea-Africa Foundation held the publication ceremony for the sixth volume of the Af-PRO essay collection, 『한국과 아프리카를 잇다』, on Thursday, December 11, at the Diamond Hall of The Plaza Hotel in Seoul.

The sixth essay collection features vivid experiences and insights from 10 Africa experts (Af-PROs) who are actively engaged in the field of Korea?Africa cooperation across diverse sectors, including politics, diplomacy, healthcare, business, culture, the arts, startups, and academia.

The publication ceremony was attended by contributors to this volume, including

Lee Ju-young, former Vice Speaker of the National Assembly and Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Korea-Africa Foundation;

H.E. Chafik Rachadi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Korea;

Park Jong-dae, former Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of South Africa and former Ambassador to Uganda;

Kim Dong-hae, Director of Myeongdong St. Mary’s Eye Clinic and Chairman of the Board of Vision Care;

Yoon Yeo-bong, Chief of the Jeonbuk Business Agency;

Jang Jun-won, former Consul at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Egypt;

and Kim Dong-jo, Executive Vice President of the Global Policy Strategy Office at Hyundai Motor Group.

Each contributor personally signed their respective chapter, adding further significance to the publication.

The Korea-Africa Foundation will continue its efforts to ensure that, through the Af-PRO essay collection, the experiences and knowledge of Africa experts, who have quietly built invisible bridges between Korea and Africa across the continent, can be widely shared.
