The Korea-Africa Foundation successfully concluded the "2025 Global Accelerating Support Program in Africa" by hosting an Outcome Sharing Session on November 19th. The event served as a platform to share the achievements of the past six months, with startups participating in both the domestic and local Africa programs presenting their results and future plans for expansion into Africa.

The 2025 Pan-Government Global Accelerating Program supported the entry of 7 innovative Climate-Tech startups and 8 Aging-Tech startups into Africa. The program involved a 5-week domestic phase to strengthen capabilities for African market entry, followed by a 4-week local phase. The local phase included diverse activities such as IR Demo Days, meetings with government agencies, 1:1 partner matching, and market research in South Africa, Kenya, and Egypt. Through these efforts, participating startups explored the potential for market entry into Africa and expanded exchanges with local investors and startups.

Participating startups achieved significant outcomes, including signing MOUs with local African partners and securing contracts for pilot projects and exports. Furthermore, the participating companies positively evaluated the local customized business matching and meetings with government agencies facilitated through the Korea-Africa Foundation's network and requested continued and diverse follow-up support in the future.

The Korea-Africa Foundation plans to actively support Korean startups' entry into Africa through this program and various other startup support initiatives. It will continue to deploy various support programs to ensure that the startup ecosystems of Korea and Africa can grow together through innovation.
