Regular Meeting of the Korean Consortium of African Studies Institutes Held

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Regular Meeting of the Korean Consortium of African Studies Institutes was held at the main conference room of the Korea-Africa Foundation.

The consortium was established in May 2024 during the 2024 Korea-Africa International Academic Forum, bringing together nine domestic universities and private research institutes engaged in African studies.

At this regular meeting, representatives from seven university-based African research institutes participated to discuss upcoming events, including the National Academic Conference of the Consortium of African Studies-Related Institutions in Korea, scheduled for September 26?27 (Friday?Saturday).

The Korea-Africa Foundation plans to sponsor this academic conference and will continue to strengthen close cooperation with the consortium in the future.
