2025 GMEP Aging Tech Companies Visit the Embassy of Egypt in Korea

Eight participating companies in the aging tech sector of the 2025 Global Accelerating Support Project (GMEP: Global Market Expansion Program) visited the Egyptian Embassy in Korea on August 27 (Wednesday) as part of their domestic program to establish an Egyptian diplomatic network .

Khaled Abdelrahman, the ambassador of the Egyptian Embassy in Korea, invited eight aging tech companies to the embassy to share information on Egypt's economic situation and market environment. Participating companies showed their passion for entering Egypt by introducing their own products and explaining about their products, and in response, Ambassador Khaled also gave special advice. It was a meaningful occasion for both start-up companies and the embassy, suggesting ways for start-ups to be market competitive, recommending business partners in each field, and suggesting the direction of start-ups in overseas programs in the future. In 2025 GMEP, seven climate tech companies in South Africa and Kenya and eight aging tech companies in Egypt are participating to promote domestic and overseas programs, and next month, aging tech companies will visit Egypt in person to realize successful entry into Egypt.
