Visit and Meeting of the Democratic Republic of Congo Forest Delegation with the Foundation

On Thursday, August 28, a delegation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), invited by KOICA for the purpose of learning successful forest policies, technologies, and experiences, visited the Foundation. The delegation was led by Toirambe Bamoninga Benjamin, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of the DRC, and Tongu Dogati Wivine, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of the Haut-Uele Provincial Government, and included Junwoo Park, Head of the UNDP DRC Office, as well as government officials, civil society organizations, and private-sector experts in forestry.

During the visit, the Foundation took the opportunity to review recent developments in Korea?Africa relations and discussed potential areas of cooperation.
