2025 GMEP Orientation

On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the orientation for the Pan-Ministerial Global Accelerating Program was held. This program is a collaborative initiative overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, managed by the Korea Startup Promotion Agency, and hosted by the Korea-Africa Foundation.

It targets climate tech and aging tech startups, providing an on-site acceleration program in Africa along with financial support of approximately 30 million KRW for market entry.

This year, seven climate tech startups and eight aging tech startups have been selected. They will first undergo a five-week domestic program focused on developing localization strategies for Africa and receiving IR mentoring. Afterwards, the climate tech startups will participate in local programs in South Africa and Kenya, while the aging tech startups will join programs in Egypt, as they begin their full-scale entry into the African market. We look forward to seeing our climate tech and aging tech startups thrive in the African market!
